Nearly 800,000 people brought to the United States illegally as children have questions for Congress. Since President Trump cancelled President Obama’s 2012 executive order, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, the national legislature has yet to pass a bill regarding the former recipients, known commonly as Dreamers. Our guests are Professor Hemanth Gundavaram who is co-director of Northeastern University’s Immigrant Justice Clinic and a Dreamer, who wishes to remain anonymous, about her experiences.
